Art Dealers and Galleries

ArtDiscovery can help to secure the authentication process with additional levels of information that will ensure works of art achieve the highest value possible at sale, while reducing risk by providing material evidence to support connoisseurial opinion.

We assist art dealers and galleries to present artworks in new ways by revealing information that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

Vincent Van Gogh
ArtDiscovery undertook the technical imaging analysis on Vincent Van Gogh's "Paysanne devant une Chaumière" (Peasant Woman in front of a Farmhouse). The X-ray revealed an earlier version of the painting underneath, corresponding with a known drawing by the artist. The work was sold by the Dickinson gallery for a TEFAF record-breaking price of €15m.
